A pool is one of the most expensive things in the backyard, and one of the easiest to take at face value. Even a newer pool can hide a cracked shell, a tired pump, or wiring that was never done right. Add in the elaborate control systems, water features and electronic valves on a lot of pools today, and there's plenty that a quick glance over the fence will never tell you.

* During cooler months, or if the pool is not operational, we will not be able to inspect that pumps, filters, and other mechanical parts are functional and fully operational, or that leaks are not present.
